Kim Wright

Kim Wright was born in a rural, Midwestern town and lived with her grandparents from the time she was 18 months old. Attending Granny's small country church every Sunday was part of life without question for Kim and her older brother.
Hearing the old country preachers teach about the love of Jesus Christ created an image of a kind and loving Master in Kim's young mind. In this setting, the foundation for good moral principles was born. At the age of 16, Kim accepted the gift of Chirst on the cross and began her journey of getting to know Him and His kindness. Her venture of nearly 25 years has been exhilarating, tumultuous and life-changing.
Through many fiery trials ~ growing up despite an absent father, enduring a dysfunctional family, surviving turbulent teen years, overcoming victimization, loss ~ Kim has experienced God's faithfulness though she was not always faithful to Him.
The journey toward God has been an amazing labyrinth of ups and downs, twists and turns, laughter and tears with Christ sitting right beside her and guiding her every step. Embracing Romans 8:28 and 2Corinthians 1:4, Kim believed that God would 'work all things together for the good' and that someday her hard times would inspire women in need to find 'the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.' She sensed God's calling several years ago when He started giving her a passion for studying His Word and the courage to speak publicly about her challenges.
Prayerful devotion and a willingness to give her wounds over to God allowed Kim's heart to heal. Kim's ministry focus is to help all women understand who they are in Christ so they can be better mothers, better wives and better women of God. Jesus died so that we 'may have life and have it abundantly.' (John 10:10) Kim knew that
God was calling her 'for such a time as this' to share her story, teach His word, and give hope to those who want to follow Christ's will for their lives.
Kim's teaching style is refreshingly honest, open, compassionate and straight from the Word of God. She can make you laugh and make you cry, sometimes all at once! She peppers her teaching with humor, energy, humility and grace.
Kim has the life experience of 27 years of marriage. She and Todd have five children, ranging in age from 26 to 7 (yes, God has a sense of humor!). She serves in her home church as Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader and lay counselor. Kim has founded Go Deeper Ministry, reaching women across the United States and she writes a monthly devotion sharing insights form the lessons God continues to teach her.
