Deborah Lovett

Biography

Deborah fell in love with two men and married them both. One was named Tim, who’d been raised by his widowed mother in southern Kentucky. He took Deborah to his local church where she met “the other man” — the One who stole her heart: Jesus. Months later, she floated down the aisle in what she describes as her “double wedding!”

Two children followed, and for the next two decades, she grew in her faith, teaching Sunday school and women’s bible studies, then hosting ladies’ retreats and outreach events on her gracious 22-acre horse property. She wrote a devotional book, Gushing Springs, and began speaking at women’s retreats around the country. Her life was everything she had ever dreamed it could be…and even more.

Then she and her family, lost everything to a devastating house fire, but she discovered among the ashes her Heavenly Father left two gifts that would change the trajectory of her life forever. Through the restoration process, God gave her fresh vision and a new assignment: Calling women to arise in faith, hope and love!

She recently finished work on a forthcoming book recounting her life story, Out of the Ashes We Arise: One Woman’s Journey from Devastation to Restoration.

She is a senior faculty member at Women’s Empowerment University.

She is a member and graduate of Speak Up Service as well as a member of AWSA. (Authors, Writers, Speakers Association) and a CLASS (Christian Leaders, Authors, Speaker Services) graduate.

She was a former Chairwoman of the Dayton Christian Women’s Club. And before entering ministry, she was an A.V.P. of U.S. Bank.
