What Race Are You Runnig?

Based on Hebrews 12:1-2. This humorous but challenging message compares different races: the 50 yard dash, hurdles, marathons and treadmill running to our spiritual lives. See what it takes to get you running the right race.

Beautiful Thing

Based on Proverbs 31:30 and Mark 14:3-9. Are you falling prey to the charms of this world or are you a woman who fears the Lord? We will closely examine Proverbs 31:30 to see some of the traps set before us. We will then see what "beautiful thing" one woman who feared the Lord did that touched the heart of Jesus.

Dressing to the Spiritual Nines

Based on Ephesians 6:11-17. As Christians we are called to don our battle fatigues but instead, we are too fatigued to battle. Why? We fight our own battles and do it ill prepared. This weekend will find us examining our full armor the Lord tells us to put on, how it is suppose to fit, and possible reasons why we either don't bother putting it on or it doesn't fit at all. Ladies will be challenged to live life dressed to the spiritual nines!

Loving the Lord with Everything You've Got

Based on Mark 12:30-31. Loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength is what Jesus commands us to do above all else. Are you doing it? We will take a look at what NOT loving Him with everything you've got looks like. We will then look at an example of a woman who gives Jesus her all. (This is a great talk for a 2-3 session weekend.)

What Harvest Are You Reaping?

Based on Galatians 6:7-9. This message parallels what it takes to tend to an earthly garden with tending to our spiritual gardens by using the elements of soil, water, sun and rest. It will cause you to reflect on the harvest you are reaping and why.

Opening the Gift of Salvation

Based on Mathew 2:1-12. This great Christmas message parallels the Magi when they set out on a journey to find the Christ child with our quest to meet Christ and discover Who He is.
